The Active New Communities project
focuses on helping individuals to stay active while relocating to a new
community in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
Moving house is exciting but can be a big life change. It takes time and effort to get settled into
your new home or community and this can impact on your normal routines
including when you exercise.
Living Sport, the County Sports
Partnership for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and lead partner on the project
is conducting research with Alconbury Weald, Northstowe and Hauxton residents. This questionnaire is
designed to identify your current level of physical activity along with the
sports and activities that you already take part in and would like to take part
in. We also want to learn if you have
any skills or would like to gain skills to help others be active in your new
community.
By providing your responses to this
questionnaire you will be helping Living Sport and our project partners to
shape how we support your community. We do ask for you to provide contact
details at the end of the survey so that we can re-contact you to tell you
about new sport and physical activity opportunities that are developed in your
area as a result of this project.
